Attunement: A Boot Camp

Wednesday, May 29, 7:00—9:00pm

What does language sound like when it’s liberated from the demand to make sense and meaning? In this workshop, held in conjunction with Erika DeFreitas’ exhibition at TPW, participants will explore modes of writing that are not premised on thinking, reason, or consciousness; but are attuned to spiritual and prelinguistic processes and that lubricate the unconscious. Together we will cultivate a series of experiences where language can be otherwise than it is, so participants can take home a shattered wedge of new syntax, or slip a sheathe of spirit into the resonances of their words.

Workshop led by Fan Wu.

All are welcome, but seating is limited. Please RSVP to daniella@gallerytpw.ca to reserve a seat.
